While we were in the middle of a remodel in our customer’s home, including new hardwood floors, remodeling their kitchen, mudroom, and half bath, they realized the fireplace in their great room needed a face lift. They wanted the fireplace to look more modern to match the rest of their home, giving the great room a focal point. We did this by removing the existing facing, adding Carrara marble to the face, surrounding area, and hearth. To compliment the marble, a custom mantle was made to tie the room and the marble in with each other to give the room a more elegant look that they were trying to achieve. After the job was completed, the homeowners were completely blown away with the results of their new fireplace, they decided to add a tv over the mantle after the job was completed so they can look at the beautiful fireplace all the time.
